Primarily used in food, pharmaceutical sectors and laboratory analysis.
In food industry: buffer, chelator, stabilizer, antioxidant, emulsifier & flavoring agent, applicable to dairy, jelly, jam, meat, canned hydrogel snacks, cheese emulsification and citrus preservation.
In pharmaceuticals: treats hypokalemia and potassium deficiency, alkalizes urine. Also used as chemical analytical reagent.
